Powermat wireless charging system

Cut down on cable clutter with Powermat's wireless charging system.

Powermat

It may sound like science fiction, but Powermat has managed to create a wireless charging system that actually works.

It doesn't beam power to your devices, but it will charge your gadgets when they're in contact with the specially designed mat. The mat sends power via inductive coupling, which uses a magnetic field to transfer electricity between two devices in close proximity.

The downside of the system is that each device needs a receiver, so you'll need to bulk up your iPhone by putting it in a special case for it to work with the mat.

The Powermat is available now from £69.99, adapters for popular mobile phones start at £29.99. See Powermat for more information.
