Mobile phone cameras used to produce small, grainy pictures that were only really suitable for emailing to your mates. Samsung is the latest phone manufacturer to up the pixel count of its handsets, with its new G600 boasting a five megapixel snapper.
If you're shooting in the dark there's an LED flash, so you'll be able to make out people (and their indiscretions) the morning after. You also don't have to worry about running out of internal storage as you can just pop in a MicroSD card if you fill up the memory.
While it may be able to produce large pictures, the handset is still small at 48x102x15mm and there's a 2.2in screen for reviewing shots on. In addition to the built-in MP3 player, Bluetooth version 2 and an upgraded web browser, the G600 can also make calls too.
The G600 will be available in August, price will depend on contract. For further details, keep an eye on Samsung's website nearer the time.
