BlackBerrry has clearly decided there might just be something in this folding phone lark and has unveiled its very first clamshell model - the Pearl Flip 8220.
As well as a large 240x360 pixel display inside, there's also an additional 128x160 resolution screen on the outside, so you can quickly get info without having to open it up fully if you just want a brief overview.
It features a rollerball mouse, like other Pearl models, and comes packing the same super easy email that BlackBerry's famous for. The camera is a little on the low side at just 2 megapixels and there's no GPS built in but you do get Wi-Fi. You'll also find a MicroSD card slot at the side, so you don't need to worry about running out of memory.
The Pearl Flip will be available later in the year, price will depend upon contract. For further details, see BlackBerry.
