If you fancy the idea of getting fast internet while you're out and about, but don't want to mess around trying to hook your mobile up to your laptop or always be on the lookout for a Wi-Fi hotspot then a 3G USB modem is the way to go.

Thanks to Vodafone's new USB Stick Pro, fast internet is even more affordable than ever. It's available for free on either an 18 or 24 month contract and if you opt for the two year deal then the first thee months will only cost you £10 each - saving £15 in total. That gets you 3GB of data a month, but if you need more then 5GB will set you back £15 for the first three months, saving £30 overall.

It supports a maximum speed of 7.2Mbps - although in real use you're more likely to get between 1-5Mbps. The USB connector retracts when not in use and it even doubles as 4GB memory key.
