The new version of the iPhone, the 3GS, is said to be several times faster than its predecessor and runs a new version of the Mac OS.
It also has a 3-megapixel, auto-focusing camera, captures video content and has voice control features for calling, controlling video playback, and listening to music.
A MMS (multimedia messaging service) function has been added and the new iPhone 3.0 operating system will let you use landscape
mode in more applications such as Mail and Messages.
iPhone 3.0 will be
launched on 17 June. It will be available for free on some contracts though if you want to buy a pay-as-you-go model it'll cost you at least £342.50.
