Getting digital video off your PC and onto your telly isn't an easy task, but Netgear's new Digital Entertainer Live could help.

The device sits on your network and will happily chew through video you've downloaded, as well as live streams from the internet, and chuck them up on your TV at up to 720p HD resolution. You can even tap into on-demand services such as BBC iPlayer.

It supports most common video formats and there's a remote control included so you can browse away without having to leave the sofa.
