Digital radio that defies time

Roberts' latest DAB radio, the cute and compact MP-30, refuses to be bound by the standard constraints of time.

Not only does this portable device allow you to pause and rewind live broadcasts, to go back up to 40 minutes to the beginning of a song or programme, it lets you see into the future using its seven-day EPG (Electronic Programme Guide). You can then use its dozen timers to set content to record onto the supplied 256MB SD card.

Equipped with both digital and FM tuners and 12 station presets, the MP-30 also plays MP3 and WMA files, features two alarms to rouse you to the radio, a buzzer or your favourite tunes. It costs £200 and is in the shops now. See Roberts Radio for full details.
