Getting big sound out of a small speaker system is no mean feat, however Saitek is hoping its 3D 380 will provide wide, wraparound audio with the need for bulky housings.
The setup features Saitek's Advanced Stereo Imaging System (ASIS) which promises pinpoint stereo accuracy, particularly important in PC gaming for an enhanced atmosphere and immersive experience. It also works when playing back music too, allowing you to hear different instruments more precisely in the stereo mix.
The speaker housing is designed to minimise distortion so it produces crisp, clean sound over a wide acoustic range. There's even an adjustable bass contour control which allows you to customise the system depending on the acoustics of your room. With a maximum output of 80W it shouldn't have a problem filling most studies or spare bedrooms with sound.
The 3D 380 is available now for £34.99, see Saitek for further details.
