Freecom Hard Drive XS 3.0 external USB 3.0 disk

Wave goodbye to slow files transfers with the first USB 3.0 external drive on the market, according to Freecom.
The Hard Drive XS 3.0 can copy files at 1,040Mbps - over twice that of USB 2.0's 480Mbps theoretical maximum. That means you can expect a 5GB file to make its way between drives in just 38 seconds.
It's pretty small physically, making it ideal for shifting large amounts of data from place to place, and is available in 1TB, 1.5TB and 2TB capacities.
The Hard Drive XS 3.0 will be available in mid November, prices start at £99.99. See Freecom for further details.
