Memory Infinite - the linkable USB drive
Putting aside the practical considerations for the moment, here’s a smart idea: A USB flash drive that you can chain. Although it’s nothing more than a design concept, the Memory Infinite is a drive with a male USB connector at one end and a female connector at the other. To expand the amount of memory you simply attach additional drives so it grows like a snake.
Because you’ll always still have an open female USB connector at one end, the designers figure you can attach other USB devices to it too, thereby really making the most of the one port on your computer.
And as if that wasn’t enough, you can link them together into a nice, attractive bracelet too, making for a practical piece of jewellery.
How the chaining of multiple – and bendable - memory sticks to make one big drive would actually work isn’t discussed. Presumably because, well, it probably wouldn’t.
Still, never mind. It looks great doesn’t it?
