Epson's new Stylus SX100 multifunction printer isn't just cheap to buy, it's pretty reasonable to keep running thanks to its low cost individual ink cartridges. As you can replace each colour separately, at just £5.99 a pop, you don't end up throwing away unused ink as you would with a combined unit.
Despite its budget roots, it's still a pretty speedy performer - capable of churning out prints at a maximum of 26 pages per minute. It can turn its hand to photos too and the Easy Photo Print technology can even remove red-eye before creating the final print.
It also comes with a 600dpi scanner and the bundled Easy Photo Fix software will help clean up scans of old photos, helping to restore washed out colour in faded shots.
The SX100 will be available in September for £59.99, see Epson for further details.
