Amazon's Kindle ebook reader has only been available to buy in the US until now, but it's just announced an international edition.
As it uses the mobile phone network to download manuscripts, you can't just buy a regular American one and use it over here. However, the Kindle International can be used in more than 100 countries.
It features a 6in electronic ink display and 2GB of memory - enough for around 1,500 titles. Book downloads generally take less than 60 seconds and it promises over two weeks' use from a single charge.
The Kindle International is available to pre-order now for $279 (around £175), see Amazon for more information.
