Thanko has pretty much single-handedly cornered the heated PC peripherals market. The company has so far introduced the world to the delights of USB-powered heated gloves, slippers, chair seats, mice, eye masks and coffee cup warmers. All of which begs the question – just how cold must it be in the company's offices? For god’s sake, stop producing all this rubbish and put some heating on. Or simply burn the lot – that will warm your staff up for a while.
Still having said that, we must confess to having a soft spot for this heated mouse mat. The blue whale/dolphin is designed to swallow your mouse and the hand using it (plus your other hand if you work for Thanko and it’s really cold). The mat has a high/low switch to control the temperature and it can be connected to a standard power outlet as well as your PC’s USB socket.
It’s a bargain price too. Just ¥2,480 (£10.63) will help to prevent the otherwise inevitable loss of fingers through frostbite this winter.

Have you ever seen somebody lick the chutney spoon in an Indian Restaurant and put it back? This would never have happened under the Tories.
