As a general rule, computers and water don't mix very well. While it's probably best to observe this regulation whenever possible, Belkin has created a worthwhile exception with its Washable Mouse.
As they're constantly being pawed all day long, computer rodents tend to pick up all kinds of muck and they're not exactly the easiest of peripherals to clean. With Belkin's model, however, you can simply give it a rinse under the tap and you'll have it looking like new in no time at all. It's hand wash only, however, and not suitable for the dishwasher.
It comes complete with all your standard mouse features, like a scroll pad so you can quickly nip around web pages or documents and connects via USB so you shouldn't have a problem hooking it up.
