With Sony's new E-Series there's no hanging around waiting for your laptop to boot up if you just want to surf the internet.
Press the dedicated web button and you can be online in seconds thanks to Sony's Quick Web Access mode. If you want to do more than check your emails, then you can boot into Windows 7 proper.
It packs a 15.5in screen and is powered by a 2.26GHz Intel Core i5 processor and 4GB of memory and there's a 500GB hard disk for storing files.
The Vaio E-Series will be available soon, see Sony for further details.
