Dell Adamo XPS super-slim laptop

Move over Macbook Air, there's an even slimmer laptop in town.

Dell is declaring war in the super-skinny laptop stakes with the Adamo XPS – its own take on the world's slimmest laptop.

It measures just 9.9mm thick – the MacBook Air, by comparison, goes from 4mm at its thinnest point all the way up to 19.4mm. The Dell's other vital stats are 340 x 273.9mm and it weighs in at 1.44Kg.

It may be small, but it's still pretty powerful. Under the hood you'll find a 1.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo chip, 4GB of memory, a 128GB solid state hard drive and a 13.4in HD 720p display.
