
To coincide with the launch of Microsoft's latest OS, Archos has announced a new tablet that can take full advantage of Windows 7's touchscreen features.
The Archos 9 sports a 9in screen, measures 256 x 134 x 17mm and weighs 800g. It's powered by a 1.1GHz Intel Atom Z510 chip and 1GB of memory. There's 60GB of storage built in and it packs both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi for wireless communication.
It runs Windows 7 Starter Edition and as well as the touchscreen, there's a built-in trackpoint and mouse buttons for navigation.
