Microsoft Courier unveiled

Microsoft has developed a touchscreen 'tablet'-style device with two screens that can be operated with fingers or a stylus, reports claim.

According to the Gizmodo website, Courier is at the late-prototype design stage.

Microsoft has made no official comment about the report, which contains a video demonstration of how the Courier could work.

The news comes several months after rumours that Apple plans to launch the iTablet early next year emerged.

The iTablet is rumoured to be a web-capable device similar to an enlarged iPod Touch.
