A cordless mouse may stop you getting tangled up in cables, but most require a dongle to work which is one more thing to cart round or potentially lose. If you've got a desktop PC it's less of a problem, but if you're a laptop user then it can be a pain.
Logitech has designed the V470 with the traveller in mind - it'll talk to any Bluetooth enabled laptop without the need for any other additional add-ons.
As well as your normal mouse functions it supports side to side scrolling and zoom, so you can nip around applications with ease. You don't need to worry about running out of juice at inopportune moments either as it'll run for four months on a single set of batteries and there's a built-in indicator light so you can check how much charge is left.
