Gaming and laptops don't exactly go together, but Asus is hoping to change all of that with the G71 - the world's first Intel quad core laptop.
In addition to the Intel Core 2 Extreme QX9300 processor, the rest of the spec is equally impressive, covering a 17in display, 500GB of hard drive space and a Blu-ray drive for HD movies.
Graphics come from a 512MB Nvidia GeForce 9700M GT chip so it should be no slouch when it comes to gaming either.
The G71 is available now for £1,999, see Asus for further details.
