Wave goodbye to slow files transfers with the first USB 3.0 external drive on the market, according to Freecom.
The Hard Drive XS 3.0 can copy files at 1,040Mbps - over twice that of USB 2.0's 480Mbps theoretical maximum. That means you can expect a 5GB file to make its way between drives in just 38 seconds.
It's pretty small physically, making it ideal for shifting large amounts of data from place to place, and is available in 1TB, 1.5TB and 2TB capacities.
The Hard Drive XS 3.0 will be available in mid November, prices start at £99.99. See Freecom for further details.

Available in either 120GB or 160GB capacities, its footprint measures a mere 82x58mm and it weighs just 80g. As it draws its power from the USB port, you don't need to carry around an additional power supply - just plug it in and it's ready to go.
Password protection is included, so your files won't fall into the wrong hands if you lose it, and it connects via USB 2.0 so file transfers should be speedy.
The USB Memory is available now for £84.99 (120GB) or £99.98 (160GB), see Freecom for more information.
There's no need to worry about your data falling into the wrong hands with Freecom's new Hard Drive Secure.

The Hard Drive Secure is available now from £86, see Freecom for further information.
