Internet Devices

Amazon's Kindle ebook reader has only been available to buy in the US until now, but it's just announced an international edition.
As it uses the mobile phone network to download manuscripts, you can't just buy a regular American one and use it over here. However, the Kindle International can be used in more than 100 countries.
It features a 6in electronic ink display and 2GB of memory - enough for around 1,500 titles. Book downloads generally take less than 60 seconds and it promises over two weeks' use from a single charge.
The Kindle International is available to pre-order now for $279 (around £175), see Amazon for more information.

Radio isn't just about listening anymore - Pure's Sensia set sports a large touchsceen at its front.
In addition to tuning into DAB and internet radio stations, you can tap into listen again services and podcasts too. There are also add-on apps you can download so you can access social networks like Facebook and Twitter straight from the set.
There's a remote control included, so you can command it from afar, and it can pump out a healthy 30W RMS of audio.
The Sensia will be available in time for Christmas for £249.99, see Pure for further details.

The new Sony Reader Pocket Edition is a slimmed-down eBook reader that's ideal for commuters.
It features a 5in electronic ink display that has a paper-like appearance. Unlike regular screens it has no flicker and can be read even in direct sunlight. It features eight levels of grey for fine text detail.
There's 512MB of memory built in - enough for storing about 350 eBooks - and the battery will last 6,800 page turns, which should keep you going for around two weeks.
The Reader Pocket Edition is available to pre-order now for £179.99 from Sony.
Logitech is hoping to take the hassle out of wireless peripherals with its new Unifying range.
A single small wireless receiver can support up to six different devices, so you don't have to have multiple receivers plugged in at the same time, occupying USB ports unnecessarily. Adding new devices is a doddle - once they're detected the software will walk you through process.
The receiver is also small enough to leave in your laptop all the time as it only extends a mere 8mm from the side of your machine.
The Unifying range is available now with further devices to come in September, see Logitech for further details.
