Desktop PCs

Netbooks may have started out as cut-down, low-performance machines but Asus is looking to change that with the new Eee PC 1201N.
It packs a dual-core Intel Atom 330 processor and an Nvidia Ion graphics chip so it should be no slouch when it comes to performance. The screen stretches to 12.1in and it also sports an HDMI port for watching HD material on the big screen.
It comes pre-loaded with Windows 7 and according to Asus should run for up to five hours on battery.
The Eee PC 1201N will be available in January for £399, see Asus for more information.
