iPod, but can't be bothered messing around capturing and encoding all your videos on a PC then Pinnacle has just the product for you. Its new Video Transfer gadget allows you to record TV shows directly to an iPod or PSP without the need for a PC at all.

Just hook it up to any analogue video source, press a button and it will get on with capturing and compressing the video for you. If you're worried about the converted files taking up too much space, you can choose from three different compression levels so you can find the best one for you.

Files are converted into H.264 format and at the best recording setting videos are captured at 720x576 DVD resolution.
