Archos TV+ DVR and media streamer
Apple TV set top box. Archos is hoping that its offering is more compelling, with its ability to record TV programmes from an external Freeview or Sky box. It also features built in WiFi so it can connect to other network devices and the internet, although you'll need to splash out extra for a web browser plugin if you want to surf the web.
It features both HDMI and component out, but it's currently only capable of handling DVD quality video files, which is slightly disappointing in this high definition age.
