Sanyo's new Xacti VPC-HD2000 camcorder doesn't just shoot high definition video - it can capture 1080p footage for the up most quality.
In addition to high res moving images, you can also take 8megapixel snaps and there's a 10x optical zoom so you can get a close up on the action.
You can shoot slow motion footage thanks to the 240fps and 600fps modes and there's a 2.7in screen for watching footage back or you can hook it up to a big screen TV via the HDMI port in the docking station.
The Xacti VPC-HD2000 will be available in March, see Sanyo for further details.
