Women asked to name the worst gadget of all time have overwhelmingly voted for the shower radio.
A survey of 3,000 females conducted by insurance firm Sheilas' Wheels found that the shower radio was even less popular than electric candles, the electric nail file and the Soda Stream.
Teasmaids, pancake makers and fondue sets were also on the list, though not all of the items were relics of the 80s - digital photo frames came in at number 16 on the list.
"Many new gizmos that appear incredibly useful at purchase, just end up collecting dust and taking up cupboard space before too long," said Jacky Brown of Sheilas' Wheels.

I've got a Sony shower radio I've used every day for 10 years. It's great! What's the problem with them?

Shower Radios are great! Showers would be boring without a bit of chris moyles in the background.
Typical women ! ! !
Although i have to agree that digital photo frames are pointless, why pay 80 quid for something you can print for free?? I never understood that, i reckon the manufacturers see the techno-mugs on the high street a mile off.
