Canon's ten-megapixel camera

Canon's ten-megapixel camera

Canon_a640 Canon is the latest digital camera manufacturer to break the ten-megapixel barrier with this new addition to its popular PowerShot range.

In addition to that incredible resolution, the PowerShot A640 features a 4x optical zoom lens, a 2.5in LCD screen that can be flipped out and rotated so you can capture images from any angle or position, and a wide variety of shooting modes. These include settings for aperture, flash and shutter priority, as well as full manual modes for complete exposure control. You can also apply artistic effects to your pictures in-camera both during and after shooting, and record high quality movies with sound at 30 frames per second.

The A640 comes with a 32MB SD Memory card and Canon's own image-editing and panorama-creating software. Get the lowdown at Canon.
