Canon HV30 Camcorder

Canon's new camcorder, the HV30, was voted "Best HD Camcorder 2008" at the EISA awards. It has a shiny black casing and records HDV 1080i images directly to MiniDV tape.

Building on the success of the HV20, the HV30 has a number of tweaks that make it easier to use. The Canon HV30 comes with a Canon HD lens and a 2.96-megapixel Full HD CMOS sensor, as well as a Digic DV II processor for realistic, colourful images..

To enjoy your creations on a larger screen, it has an HDMi connection, and you can even capture life’s best moments from afar with its wide-angle lens. This camcorder also includes a video lamp and 0.2 lux sensitivity, so you can film at night or outside, and a 10x optical zoom so you can focus your attention on subjects in the distance.

In addition to its photo mode for memory cards and built-in flash, the HV30 has Pictbridge connectivity for direct photo printing and a DV input and output, as well as a USB 2.0 port.

You can become the next Stephen Spielberg using the different special effects, colours, faders and 13 AE exposure programmes. Make the move to HD with ease thanks the HV30 from Canon.
