Despite its cut-down interface, WinVN performs rather well and is lightning fast when it comes to downloading newsgroup lists and accessing posts. But it is obvious that WinVN has been designed for seasoned users. It's far from user-friendly and should be ignored by anyone who doesn't take being called a 'geek' as a compliment.
