This device will work fine with basic USB but, if you have USB 2.0, you can capture high-resolution video of 640 by 480 pixels at 30 frames per second. This won't help you if you're video conferencing as basic broadband isn't good enough to handle these speeds, but it is useful if you're thinking of doing other video work from your PC.
