Serif MediaPlus 2 retains the simplicity of its previous version, but adds several new and improved features. It gathers pictures from scattered sources into central albums; encrypts and decrypts images for your privacy; and provides batch conversion for processing several photos at the same time. Creating slideshows, screensavers and web galleries is easy, and you can burn your work onto Video CD. On the downside, the program lacks even rudimentary image-editing tools and costs considerably more than its rivals.
