Designed to accompany Sanyo's ICR-B170 combined digital voice recorder and MP3 player but also available on its own, this speaker and MP3 player case combo can connect to anything with a regular headphone socket. It runs on three AAA batteries but is probably best suited to speech, as the quality of its musical output was disappointing. While its rigid exterior is handy for protecting your player from harm, you're probably better off listening to a battered player through better speakers.
