It was a close call for the Bronze Award, but these innovative-looking speakers were pipped to the post. Although beautifully designed, we were ever-so slightly disappointed by the relative lack of impact the speakers had, despite its posh-looking air trap, designed to add a bit of depth to its bass capability. With options for running off batteries (four AAA) or plugging into the mains, this is a good travel companion and is lighter than it looks, but the sound doesn't quite live up to the promise or the price.
