The interesting thing about this model is that it has a memory card reader built in, so it's particularly handy for digital photographers or videographers who use such things. Just put in your card, press the Copy button on the front and a new folder will be created that will contain all the files on the card. For a snappy way of getting your snaps onto a TV, this is a handy option. It also comes with back-up software to help you save your important files but is let down by its limited capacity (only 50GB) and its relatively clunky interface when you plug it into your TV. The card reader also seems to have impacted on the price, so this needs to be a must-have feature to make it worthwhile.
