CleanSweep is now only available as part of the mighty Norton SystemWorks suite, so you'll need to splash out quite a large sum, but it can be installed separately via custom installation.

With its heavy emphasis on safety, it's ideal for PC users keen to delete unwanted files without damaging their system. The program quickly identifies which files and programs are safe to remove and how much space you can save, then offers to back them up for future restoration. Addressing internet clutter, it can instantly clear your cache of temporary files, select and sweep away unwanted cookies, and safely remove plug-ins and ActiveX controls. It's very easy to use, but other clean-up tools go further and deeper.
