If you don't have Outlook Express, chances are that you use Netscape for your email. This can also be used to download and browse through newsgroups. The Netscape News program follows Outlook Express very closely but lacks the immediacy and speed of its Microsoft peer. The way that this application arranges the initial list of newsgroups can be quite confusing for the first-timer and it appeared slow to react when we clicked on a new message. If you are a Netscape user then give Netscape News a try but we believe you will soon want to swap it for something a little smoother.
