This model is very similar to the cheaper Lexmark Z55 model. It is just as easy to set up and use, with the same automatic configuration options and excellent 'speaking' software to ensure you're printing exactly what you want. The main difference lies in a handy second paper feeder, so you can keep two types of paper on the go at the same time. The automatic paper detection system means that, as long as you keep both trays stocked up, the printer can automatically choose the best paper for your needs as the jobs arrive.
Our test results suggested the mechanism inside this model was similar to that of the Z55, with the same slow speed and similar quality. On photo paper the results over-compensated for the lack of extra photographic inks, though plain paper printing was more impressive.
