StudioLine's software started out as a souped-up image organiser for serious photographers owning vast photo collections. It now comes with a capable image editor and a very reasonable price tag, but it's still aimed at high-end photographers rather than those looking to sort and edit a few holiday snaps. Serious editors might still want the extra tweaking power available in the likes of Paint Shop Pro, if only because it's slightly easier to use. But those with loads of photos needing a decent cataloguing system along with some editing functionality should consider this first.
