If a prize could be awarded for the most attractive program then Copernic would win easily. It not only looks fantastic but also does a reasonable job of finding files. Indexing is a bit slow, but you can choose where to look, which files to index, and whether to index the file contents. It looks for most common file types, though not when they are in Zip archives, with results presented in an exceptionally clear manner. Thumbnails of certain file types are shown so you can easily view images and listen to music. It's a good tool that should only get better in the future.
