Because there's a domain name involved, things can start to get a bit technical in places, especially with regard to setting up and administering the address in the first place. It's not an insurmountable obstacle, but 1&1's website isn't the most user-friendly of the bunch. Security is well covered though, with the service offering virus scanning and spam filtering to keep your Inbox free of internet nastiness.

If you're looking for your own domain name, this really is the best value option we've found. It probably shouldn't be anyone's first email address, but for people with a bit of knowledge about how email and domain names work, it's incredibly good value. |
