Dell is declaring war in the super-skinny laptop stakes with the Adamo XPS – its own take on the world's slimmest laptop.
It measures just 9.9mm thick – the MacBook Air, by comparison, goes from 4mm at its thinnest point all the way up to 19.4mm. The Dell's other vital stats are 340 x 273.9mm and it weighs in at 1.44Kg.
It may be small, but it's still pretty powerful. Under the hood you'll find a 1.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo chip, 4GB of memory, a 128GB solid state hard drive and a 13.4in HD 720p display.
The Adamo XPS will be available soon, see Dell for more information.

With Griffin's Evolve wireless sound system you don't need to have cables trailing all over your house to get a decent stereo soundstage.
Sit your iPod in the middle and then detach the two speakers and place them anywhere up to 150 feet away from the docking station. Each speaker contains a battery, so you don't need to worry about power, and can run for up to 10 hours between charges.
You'll also find a remote control thrown in so you can command it from afar.
The Evolve is available now for £279.99, see Griffin for further details.

Sony Ericsson may have held back while the competition marched ahead with handsets running Google's open source OS, but the wait has paid off.
The Xperia X10 may run Android underneath, but Sony Ericsson has puts its own swish user interface on top, making it one most prodable and pokable touchphones yet.
The hardware isn't half bad either, with an 8.1-megapixel camera, a super-fast 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 1GB of memory and an 8GB memory card for storage.
The Xperia X10 will be out early next year, see Sony Ericsson for further details.

The Adapt 305 may only measure a pocket-friendly 110 x 60 x 25mm but it can produce images up to 100in.
It packs a high brightness rating of 45 lumens, so you won't have a problem making out the image it creates. You can easily hook it up to a standard laptop or netbook via VGA.
Alternatively, it's got a healthy 4GB of onboard memory so you can load it up with video and image files and take them on the road. There's also an SD card slot, so you can easily add more storage.
The Adapt 305 is available now for £349, see Personal Projector for more information.
