Halo: Reach armour-upgrade code revealed on Facebook
Just hours after the game's worldwide launch, Halo: Reach developer Bungie has used its Facebook page to issue an armour-upgrade code that apparently bestows players with a near-mythical flaming helmet.
The burning recon headgear upgrade acquired legendary status among Halo fans because it was previously available only to Bungie employees and a chosen few others.
But Bungie celebrated Halo: Reach's midnight launch by giving away a code that unlocks this most sought-after of armour upgrades.

One of the codes released by Bungie was WDH8K-DT3XY-RJ7GC-8246P-TT44B, but this will now have been redeemed by a gamer - it's one code per person. To keep an eye out for more codes, visit Bungie's official Facebook page.
Elsewhere, a Facebook page set up by Bungie specifically to celebrate the launch of Halo: Reach - called Remember Reach - is racing towards 100,000 ‘likes'.
Hot topics on the Remember Reach Facebook page include the hunt for Halo: Reach ‘Easter eggs' - graphical tricks and treats hidden in the game by the developer.
