NEWSFLASH - Puppy-throwing girl found by police in Bosnia

Facebook and 4Chan members are on the hunt to identify a girl who appears to be throwing puppies into a river in an online video.

The video, see below, was posted on YouTube and LiveLeak earlier this week and features a blonde-haired girl wearing a red hoodie apparently picking puppies out of a bucket and launching them into a river.

On Monday afternoon a thread was posted on the image-board site 4Chan entitled: "Find this dumb little b*tch and throw her into a river." Further posts on the 4Chan thread appear to have identified the girl.

Facebook groups have been also been set up to identify and target the girl, including one called Kill the Puppy throwing girl.

Last week a video of a woman putting a cat in a bin caused outrage with a Facebook group set up to identify the woman shown in the clip. Personal details such as her home address and phone number were posted on the group, which were later removed.

Similarly, the personal Facebook, Twitter and MySpace account details of the puppy-throwing girl were posted to the Facebook group but it appears the pages have since been removed.

Last month a video which apparently showed a group of people hunting and killing an urban fox sparked outrage but this was later shown to be a hoax.

Critics of the puppy-throwing girl video and the cat in the bin video believe that these are similar hoaxes.
