Compare the Meerkat iPhone app launched
Comparethemarket.com has launched a free iPhone app that features Aleksandr Orlov of Comparethemeerkat.com fame.
The iSimples app, which is available to download from iTunes from today, plays several phrases spoken by the aristocratic Russian meerkat "for learn English, for practice witty dialogue and for understanding the difference between ‘meerkat' and ‘market'."
The phrases on the app include 'Your whiskers are beautiful' and the meerkat's famous catchphrase: 'Simples!'. There is also said to be a hidden iSergei page.
"Some days ago, Sergei alert me that some swill-peddling mongoose merchants has create many low-rent rubbishy ‘apps' for ‘iPhone' that speaks my voice," said Orlov.
"So I put my lawyers on these peoples and ordered Sergei to create my own official ‘iPhone' voice box ‘application'. It took him all weekend but ‘iSimples' is finally ready."
