Coronation Street comes to Google Street View
Coronation Street, Stonehenge, the Millennium Stadium and Warwick Castle are among landmarks now available to take a virtual look at in Google Street View.
A shortlist of tourist attractions to add to Google Street View was narrowed down by the public who voted in Google and VisitBritain's online poll in the summer.
Other winning landmarks that can be seen online from Wednesday 2 December include Angel of the North, the Eden Project and Bamburgh Castle. Loch Ness will also be added as soon as possible next year.
The processing of the Loch Ness images is taking longer because of its size.
Specially collected images were taken using the Google Trike - a custom bike with a Street View camera attached to it.
Kew Gardens' 326-acre site can now be explored using the 360-degree map technology as well as the Lotus test track.
Justin Reid, head of Online at VisitBritain said: "It's fantastic that Google users from all over the world will be able to use Street View to virtually visit some of Britain's superb visitor attractions, it's a great way to inspire people to explore Britain."
