Beatbullying, the anti-bullying website, has found that almost one in three 11- to 16-year-olds have been bullied on the social-networking site Bebo.
Many of the young people questioned referred to the site as 'Bullybo' and a further 44.6 per cent of them had witnessed bullying on the site.
MSN Messenger came a close second as well as Facebook, Myspace and even YouTube.
The report, 'Virtual Violence: Protecting Children from Cyberbullying' looked at the effect that cyberbullying has on young people.
It found that over 60 per cent of 2,094 11-18-year-olds asked had seen some form of cyberbullying and that seven out of 10 of them knew the bully.
Almost a quarter of those asked had actually been sent a video clip or image of someone else being bullied.
Beatbullying launched CyberMentors in March and 69 per cent of the youngsters asked said they would use mentoring sites such as CyberMentors to seek help.
