This weekend's FA Cup matches, including Oldham Athletic versus Leeds United, will be the first games streamed on the FA's new video portal.

FA launches live streaming service

The FA has launched a new video portal offering surfers the chance to see live action from this weekend's FA Cup first round games for free.

It has also announced that more games will be available on its portal, FAtv, including the England Under-21 game with Portugal in the qualification round for the European Championships.

The FA has teamed up with Perform, the company that offered live streaming coverage of the Ukraine versus England World Cup qualification game.

Ian Watmore, chief executive officer of The FA said: "This is a first for a football governing body in the UK and will ensure that, along with our broadcast agreement with ITV, the maximum number of football fans will see for free matches from The FA Cup and Stuart Pearce's England Under 21s.

"As more and more people become used to viewing premium content online, The FA is determined to remain at the forefront in the evolution of new digital delivery technologies for sport," Watmore continued.
