Spotify offers one-click downloads

Spotify members can now download tracks they hear using the service with just one click from 7digital's music store.

One click downloads from Spotify

Downloading tracks you hear on Spotify's music-streaming service is now even easier with the launch of one-click downloads.

Spotify has enabled members to download tracks via 7digital's music store since March 2009, though it has only now introduced one-click downloads.

You don't need to open a web browser or stop the stream to buy the track - simply click on the 'buy' button next to the tracklisting from within the Spotify interface. All tracks come as high-quality 320Kbps MP3 files.

Spotify offers a range of options for music fans. You can stream unlimited tracks for free through your PC if you are prepared to put up with advertising.

However, if you pay £10 per month you can hear all of the music without the adverts and create playlists for listening to when you're offline, which will be available as long as you keep up with subscription payments.

And if you're a paying customer, you can also install a mobile application on an iPhone, iPod Touch or an Android-based smartphone that will let you create offline playlists you can listen to on the move.

7digital recently launched a mobile application for BlackBerry handsets, which is free to download and lets you download music from the store even when you're not in range of Wi-Fi or 3G networks.
