If you ever wanted proof that we're living in a high-tech age of incredible video accessibility where anything seems possible, this is it - you can watch Nasa bombing the Moon live online today.
By "bombing", I mean that Nasa will send a 2,249kg rocket into the crater Cabeus on the Moon's South Pole.
The collision will trigger a 10km-high cloud of lunar material that Nasa will analyse for traces of water.
I'll admit that the question "Is there water on the Moon?" doesn't quite set the spine tingling as wondering whether there's life on Mars.
But if there is water on the Moon, then it could sustain human life. And if we can build a manned base on the Moon, then we can use it as a launching pad for Mars.
See, it all makes sense. If you want more information follow Nasa's LCROSS Twitter feed.
Coverage at Nasa TV begins at 11.15 BST, with the big Moon crash planned for 12.30 BST, so grab your lunch, head to the link below and watch the LCROSS rocket plunge into the Moon at 5,600mph.
